The Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) is going to organise a written examination for the post of Excise Constable. The number of vacancies decided for this recruitment are 214 and written examination will be conducted on 15 September 2019. The commission will release the OSSSC Excise Constable Admit Card 01 Sept onwards.

Candidates will be able to download the Odisha Excise Constable Admit Card with the help of application id/ registration number and Password/date of birth from the official website of the board. Online applications for this recruitment were accepted in the month of October / November 2018. A huge number of eligible participants applied for these vacancies.

The OSSSC is responsible for the recruitment of Excise Constable in the department and it will decide the pattern of examination and selection process. All the candidates willing to attend must bring all the required documents for the examination to the exam hall.
- Physical Standard Measurement – 03 Marks
- Physical Efficiency Test – 30 Marks
- Education Achievement – 07 Marks
- Written Test – 60 Marks
The candidates will be called for the Physical Standards Test and Physical Efficiency Test under this test physical measurement like hight, chest etc will be measured as per the recruitment rules. It will be of 03 marks. Then candidates will be tested for the Race, High Jump, Broad Jump, Rope Climbing, Cycling & Swimming by the commission. Physical Efficiency Test will be of 30 marks.

As per the official notification, it id important to carry OSSSC Excise Constable Admit Card along with a valid identity proof such as Adhar Card, Passport, PAN Card and Driving Licence. Also, don’t forget to carry your recent passport size photographs. As they may be demanded by the invigilator at the time of examination.
